Meet Nastacia Catia Frau
Nastacia Catia Frau is a Johannesburg-based mixed-media artist of Italian and Spanish descent, specialising in acrylics, oils, watercolours and mixed media.
Since transitioning to painting full-time in 2020, she has exhibited with multiple galleries and sold her work to collectors across Italy, Germany, the USA, England, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Her work explores feminine beauty, spirituality and the subconscious mind, using the female form as a vehicle for visual expression. Bridging contemporary art and spirituality, she incorporates subtle symbolism into her paintings, offering collectors deeper layers of meaning. Inspired by the divine feminine, abstraction and her academic background in psychology, Nastacia aims to positively influence the subconscious through intentional imagery.
