Boris Chezar (1913-2008) is a listed and highly acclaimed artist who developed a unique sand textured oil painting technique. Born in New York - the son of Russian immigrants, Chezar began painting in his teens and continued until his death completing water colors, oils on canvass, acrylics on wood, still life paintings, landscapes, abstracts and mixed media.
