Antique Bakhtiari
Woven by the famous Bakhtiari tribe of Iran, circa 1910, this exquisite antique piece gives a gentle nod to the "garden design".
The weaver "planted" various flora in his carpet garden with the Cyprus tree quite dominant as well as the pink roses favoured by the Bakhtiari weavers.
